Information we handle
The website is hosted using Cloudflare Pages. Delivery of a web page involves technical information such as your IP address, requested URL, browser information and request time. Our hosting provider processes technical data to deliver and secure its services. This site does not currently operate user accounts, a checkout, an email signup form or a comments database.
If you email us, your email provider and ours process the message. We may receive your address, name and the information you choose to include. We use that information to respond to your enquiry, evaluate a correction or discuss a relevant collaboration.
Search and tracking
Article search runs in your browser against a public article index. Search terms are not sent to a separate search provider. We do not currently install advertising pixels, affiliate tracking cookies or third-party analytics scripts on this site.
External links
Clicking a retailer, hotel or other external link takes you to a separate service. That service has its own privacy and cookie practices. Current shopping links do not contain our affiliate tracking identifiers. Future affiliate changes will be reflected in our disclosure and this notice.
Use and retention
We use enquiry information for the purpose of the message and to maintain necessary business correspondence. We keep it only as long as needed for that purpose or applicable obligations. We do not sell your email correspondence or operate a mailing list from unsolicited enquiries.
Your choices
You may contact [email protected] to request access to, correction of or deletion of correspondence we control. Rights and exceptions depend on applicable law. Do not include sensitive identity information in your initial request; we will explain any proportionate verification needed.
Children and changes
The publication is intended for an adult audience and does not knowingly request personal data from children. This notice may change when our services or data practices change; its effective date will be updated.
